9 days to build. The Gadget Hackathon 2024 kicks off on Saturday, Sep. 28th at 9:00am ET and runs until Sunday, Oct. 6th at 11:59pm.
Submissions must include a link to your Gadget project, a brief recording (3 minutes max), and a short description.

Who can participate?
This is a global event. You can participate from any country or time zone.
Do I have to build with customer account extensions?
No, you can build any app you want. Apps that are not customer account extensions will still be considered for the category of best overall app.
Can I only submit my project to one category?
No, all projects will be considered for all prize categories.
Will live events be recorded?
Yes, we will share the recordings as the week goes on to ensure everyone has a chance to watch them.
Do I have to build with Gadget?
Yes. You can choose which parts of your app are built with Gadget, but you are required to use Gadget in some capacity.
Will there be any support during the hackathon?
Yes, we will be running live events, and you can connect with the Gadget team and other hackathon participants through our community Discord.
